The most important task ahead of us is our collective responsibility to inform and educate the citizens of this great country on the need to combat corruption at all levels through quality representation and the legislation at the state and national assemblies.
Except we elect Somalis who are ready to serve the people; we may mot be able to fight the corruption that has impoverished our various communities. We must be mindful that the weapon of the elites and those in authority is to impoverish the people to continually remain in government. We can only fight this war not by competing financially with them but by mobilizing and educating our people at the local grass-root.
You and I must make it a point of duty to go back to respective local government and talk or send emails to at least 10 people on a daily basis about this vision change. We do not need a bloody revolution; what we need as people is a visionary approach which the SV is providing. Let us stop writing on facebook, demonstrating or complaining about bad governance; yes they are good but this not the time for all that. This is the time for us to inform and educate the people of our local government and give them the sense of direction in this regard.
