A group of intellectuals / Professionals from different academic backgrounds of Economy, Political, Global, Socio-cultural, Religion, Human capital, Humanity, Islamic finance & Commerce, Science & Technology and any other applied Sectors both men and women who felt the concerns to promote advancement of Youth and alleviation of problems such as migrations crises of young Somalis attempting to migrate abroad, often at the risk of their lives, Health Education, Vocational training and Technology through understanding and action programs shared their Intellectual Ideas & Experiences then finally convened to establish SOMALI VOICE.

Born in Mogadishu, Somalia and received his BS degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Bangladesh in the year 2008, and MS in Electrical Eng with specialized in Renewable Energy at Istanbul Technical University ITU, Istanbul, Turkey in 2015.

Mr. Hashim became senior energy advisor to Somali Ministry of Power, Energy and Natural Resources in support of new policy & structural reform activities in 2015. His current research area of interests include power electronics and its applications such as in wind turbines, PV systems & Solar water pumping system, reliability and adjustable speed drives.

Born in Mogadishu, Somalia, Received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism or Mass Communication at Hadramout University of Science and Technology, Mukkalah Yemen.

Salman has a strong Academic Background on Mass communication and is currently well-known News anchor and TV Reporter in Somalia. In addition, he’s dedicated to raising money and support voluntarily towards saving lives of people with critically injured patients suffering from gunshot wounds through community fundraising to help them pay their medical expenses, and he also helps accident victims with excess blood loss, surgical, cancerous and thalassaemia patients, and people suffering from haemophilia, sickle cell anaemia and blood clotting disorders, among others through healthcare initiatives and shaping lives through community awareness and education initiatives.

Born in Kismayo, Somalia and earned his BS in Computer Science & Engineering in 2008 from Islamic University Technology, Bangladesh. He has a strong academic background and experience on research and development in the discipline of combining Information Technology and clinical Medicine, received his Master program with a focus on Database Systems at Marmara University in Istanbul Turkey.

Isse has worked with Somali government in 2013-2014 as a professional consultant providing expert advice in a particular area such as security, Biometric and Smart National ID cards. He is interested in the area of Education, Research, ICT and project Management.

Mohamed Salat Yussuf, Born in Wajir County, northeastern province of Kenya and received his degree of Bachelor of Arts majoring in sociology studies in Kampala university in Uganda in the year 2013, and Msc and LLM programmer in Project Management and Political science at Salford Business School, Switzerland in the year 2016.

Respectively, Mohamed Salat has vast Experience in Project Management Organizational Development Youth Leadership training (Capacity Building) as well Strategic Planning Facilitation, Proposal Development, Business Plan and Profile Compilation, Conference meeting Facilitation and Civic Education

Mr. Mohamed Salat became Programmer Coordinator of Somali. Initiatives Resources at Kismayo Jubaland in Somalia in the year 2015. his Current work is as Programmer Coordinator, Kismayo, Food Security and Livelihoods officer in Kismayo with American Refugee committee Livelihoods officer in Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) Garowe, Livelihood Officer International rescue committee (IRC) Mudbug and Galgadud regions Community Development officer WASH sector in Denish Refugee Council (DRC). Galkacyo Relief International Data clerk as well as Project Manager in Development Organization Galkacyo.
